The Second Amendment removes the definition of militia. It supports the freedom and the security of a person to keep and bear Arms. This is said to be necessary and allowed in a free state, and the rights of the citizens shall not be infringed. No one should have to fear their safety. Whatever measures need to be taken to ensure the safety of the citizens should be taken. The main goal of the Second Amendment is to ensure people’s safety. A very popular debate statement is whether the government should have stronger regulations on the restrictions of gun usage. â€Å"In United States v. Cruikshank, 92 U.S. 542, 553 (1875), the Court stated that the Second Amendment â€Å"has no other effect than to restrict the powers of the national government,† and in Presser v.
